South Korean Ambassador in Pakistan Choong Joo Choi has said that his country is keen to invest in Pakistan in transport, mining, hydel power and other sectors.He said South Korea wanted to invest in Monolite Rail Service in Pakistan.
Talking to Waqt News after meeting with TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Managing Director Nawa-i-Waqt Group Majid Nizami, he said Pakistan especially Punjab was conducive for investment.He said that launching of air-conditioned CNG bus service was a proof of Punjab govts seriousness for investment.Mr Choong Joo Choi said his country wanted more investment in transport sector and soon a Korean expert delegation will visit Lahore and would provide technical assistance.
Earlier, during his meeting with Majid Nizami, Mr Choong Joo Choi said that Nawa-i-Waqt has kept Pakistanis and expatriates aware about countrys situation and the Nawa-i-Waqt Groups all publication help to understand Pakistans point of view on international issues. He lauded Majid Nizami for his services for strengthening of democracy and creating harmony among democratic forces.
