TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami said here on Saturday that the real objective of the creation of Pakistan was making the country an Islamic democratic and welfare state. But he regretted that this goal was yet to be achieved.Addressing the Ideological Teacher Training Workshop at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Saturday, the NPT Chairman urged
upon the teachers to educate the students about the real purpose behind the creation of Pakistan.
“Tell the youth about the conspiracies of Hindus,” he stressed upon them. Assistant Education Officers from various areas of Punjab and teachers of Society Public School Mughalpura attended the workshop.
NPT Vice-chairman Professor Dr Rafique Ahmed also addressed on the occasion. The teachers visited the Pakistan Movement Workers gallery
besides a multimedia presentation was arranged for them.
Majid Nizami told the teachers that the NPT was pushing the government to comprise Pakistan movement into curriculum. However, he added, it was your duty to learn about Pakistan movement and then pass the same information to your students. Hindus were the real enemies of Pakistan,must tell the youth about their bad plots against the country, he stressed. Regretting upon the current circumstance, Majid Nizami said that the freedom was the greatest gift, though the people were facing problems.
“God forbid,” he said, “if we had continued living in united India, the situation for us [Muslims] would have been even worse.”Expressing sadness over the separation of Bangladesh, Majid Nizami said that it was our misfortune that those who presented Pakistan Movement, we compelled them for division.
“Thank God, Bangladesh is not a friend of India even after separation,” he said adding India would never be a true friend of any Muslim country.
No doubt Khaksar Tehrik, Jamat-e-Islami and JUI were against the creation of Pakistan but later these parties convinced and playing a vital role to save Pakistan, said the veteran journalist.
Dr Rafique said that though the country was facing multi-sided problems but as a nation we have capability to address these issues, he added.
He told them about the historic struggle for the independence of Pakistan.He said the country was enriched with rich resources but the need was to utilize these gifts of God for the development of Pakistan.NPT secretary Shahid Rasheed and Professor Dr Sarfraz Mirza also addressed the teachers.
